Drunken Poetry

Empty bottles all around,
focus drifting, headache pounds.
No one did this, it was me,
wallowing in misery.
No complaints from me, I say
"Pain can be my friend today!"
masking wounds that hurt much more,
while I lie upon the floor.

I'm not actually drunk. I just read a thread elsewhere with a drunken haiku and other poetry about the bottle, and I wanted to capture my contribution to it.
